General Livestock Judging Results

Mt. Gilead

 

Saturday, February 18th the West Holmes FFA Chapter sent its General Livestock Team to Mt. Gilead for an invitational livestock judging contest. They judged different animals like cows, sheep, goats, and pigs for their structure, meat production, and reproductive capabilities. Individually, Taylor Feikert placed 72nd, Travett Boughman 206th, Lexi Ogi 213th, and Gabby Sherman 266th. The team placed 33rd overall.

 

ATI

 

Saturday, February 25th the West Holmes FFA Chapter sent two members, Chris VanSickle and Taylor Feikert, to the ATI for a general livestock judging invitational. At the invitational, they judged cows, sheep, goats, and pigs for their structure, meat production, and reproductive capabilities. Chris VanSickle placed 4th and Taylor Feikert placed 98th.

 

Miami Trace

 

Saturday, March 11th the West Holmes FFA Chapter sent its Dairy, General Livestock, and Equine Judging teams to Miami Trace for a Judging Invitational. The Diary team evaluated dairy cattle for their structure. They placed 11th overall. Individually, Logan Schlaugh placed 17th, Regina Miller 19th, and Mike Kick 33rd. The General Livestock team judged cows, sheep, goats, and pigs for their structure, meat production, and reproductive capabilities. They placed 43rd overall. Individually, Taylor Feikert placed 148th, Lexi Ogi 201st, Chris VanSickle 245th, Travett Boughman 347th, Macin Hager 369th, and Hannah Goines 381st.
