Bucks vs All Stars

Bucks defeat Community All Stars for 18th straight year…

Lester Endsley’s basket in the final seconds broke a 71-all tie and a quick steal and score by the Bucks sealed a 75-71 win over the Community All Stars Thursday night at West Holmes High School.

The two teams have met 18 times and the Bucks remain unblemished having won all 18 games.

The All Stars trailed much of the night, by as many as 8 points on several occasions, before staging a fourth quarter rally to grab a 67-65 lead. But six straight points by the Bucks erased the deficit and the Bucks led by four in the final two minutes.

Two quick baskets by the All Stars tied the game at 71 before the Bucks pulled it out in the waning seconds.

Endsley led the Bucks with 22 points while Austin House added 12 and Dennis Hershberger and John Miller each scored 10 points.

The All Stars were led by Rich Patterson’s 10 points and Ty Myers nine.

The game was played before what might have been the biggest crowd in the 18 year history of the game.
